This project provides school supplies for the orphaned and displaced. Glue sticks, pens, pencils pencil sharpeners, construction paper, lined paper, copybooks, erasers, rulers, compasses, backpacks, school bags and reading books such as instructional English text books. There is a real desire to learn English.

Anything that a child would need in a classroom envirnoment is appropriate.

This is part of the "Kids Helping Kids" program.


There are two seperate parts to this project one is supplies the other is financial.

Part two: financial
School Books for Bosnia- the children must buy their text books for school. Most parents are unemployed. The cost of books for one child in 7th or 8th grade is $120.00.

School books for the university student are approximately $500.00

HWIP provided funds and purchased college text books for one camp member Nancy Juric. Nancy worked long hours with the doctors and nurses interpreting patients’ comments. HWIP is proud to assist in Nancy continuing education. HWIP wishes to thank Marie Duess of Saint Mary Medical Center for her instrumental role in monitoring Nancy’s special needs. HWIP is providing hope by helping Nancy make a better life through education.
